Hello. Thanks for such a great application. I would like to propose a new feature, that seems really useful to me. I use your app to send sms messages from a phone I always leave at home, because it'll take a lot of effort to restore the sim card if I loose it. So, the phone needs internet only to forward new sms. Could you make an option that will make the program turn on wi-fi , connect to a network and only then send the messages via telegram, and then turn wifi off again. I currently do it with tasker, but this solution doesn't work very well and sometimes doesn't work at all.
Thanks in advance.

    basilio Hi,

I think you can try Telegram RC, which is available at https://github.com/telegram-sms/telegram-rc. The command /switchwifi and /restartnetwork may help you. It is a subversion of Telegram-SMS with some experimental features but without any warranty, please use it at your own risk.

The API that turns on and off WiFi has been unavailable since SDK 29, so ROOT is required to do such operations. We do not want to add commands that require ROOT privileges in Telegram-SMS.

    Thank you,
    tangbao
